The Charles W. Lee Wholesale Confectionery & Crackers and a Studebaker dealership occupied this building on 6th between Santa Fe and Main. Studebaker, originally a wagon manufacturer, began making electric cars in 1902, gasoline powered cars in 1904 in conjunction with other manufacturers. By the end of 1913, all of the vehicles carried the Studebaker nameplate.
